Album Launch: Zubaan by Mridang
Mridang's latest album Zubaan is for the days you need that lift. In fact, for us here at Flipsyde, we're done with lunch and their music is just what we need to regain some of that lost morning-energy. In the era of MTV, Channel V and Indipop, one could easily imagine their songs playing alongside Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal and Silk Route.
The trio from Chandigarh includes Deepanshu Bhatia on vocals, Manthan Thakur on guitars and Jimmy Singh on drums. They describe Zubaan as an embodiment of the spirit that when all else fails, music helps. We could agree more!
